A leading teaching hospital in London is seeking a qualified Orthopaedic specialist to join their team. The ideal candidate must hold a medical degree and relevant professional qualifications, including MRCS and FRCS (Orth). Duties involve ensuring patient care, compliance with standards, and contributing to the development of the department. The Department provides Orthopaedic services primarily for the residents of Camberwell (population approximately 316,000) and a consultant based trauma service. The presence of the Regional Neurosciences Centre ensures a steady flow of multiple trauma patients. The Department is also developing a tertiary referral service for the other sub-speciality interests within the Department.
Main duties of the job
To observe the rules, policies, procedures and standards of King's College Hospital NHS Foundation Trust together with all relevant statutory and professional obligations.
To observe and maintain strict confidentiality of personal information relating to patients and staff.
To be responsible, with management support, for their own personal development and to actively contribute to the development of colleagues.

Rota is 1:11 resident 8:00 to 20:00, Weekday- Monday to Friday and subsequent weekend Saturday to Sunday
