FTE Salary: Teachers Pay Scale (M1 - UPS3), £31,650 - £49,084 per annum with a TLR2A £3391 per annum

Roseacre primary is a dynamic and inclusive primary school committed to providing high-quality education and fostering a love of learning. We believe in collaborative approaches to teaching and are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 6 classroom teacher with a passion for raising standards and ensuring excellent pupil progress.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences in Upper KS2, with a specific focus on driving up attainment and achievement. They will play a key role in the planning, assessment, and evaluation of the KS2 curriculum, working collaboratively with colleagues to ensure consistency and excellence across the phase.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver engaging and effective lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of pupils in Upper KS2.
  • Implement strategies to drive up standards and improve pupil progress in reading, writing, and mathematics.
  • Monitor and assess pupil performance, providing constructive feedback and setting challenging targets.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and refine the KS2 curriculum, ensuring it is both enriching and challenging.
  • Take a lead role in specific areas of KS2 development, such as assessment, subject leadership, or pastoral care.
  • Contribute to the wider life of the school, including attending meetings, participating in events, and supporting extracurricular activities.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Proven experience of teaching in Upper KS2.
  • Demonstrated ability to raise standards and improve pupil outcomes.
  • Strong knowledge of the KS2 curriculum and assessment procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to pupil well-being.
