Job summary

Redhill School, a newly built one-form entry primary school on the edge of Cannock Chase, is seeking an enthusiastic Upper Key Stage 2 teacher to deliver a broad, engaging curriculum and support pupils to achieve their best.

You will plan and deliver lessons in line with the National Curriculum, assess progress, differentiate for diverse needs, promote positive behaviour and collaborate with staff to safeguard and support pupil wellbeing.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver creative, engaging and high-quality lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
• Teach and assess pupils in Upper Key Stage 2, helping them make strong progress across all subjects.
• Prepare pupils for the transition to secondary school and for end-of-Key Stage 2 assessments.
• Create a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment where every child feels valued.
• Use assessment to identify learning gaps and plan next steps.
• Differentiate teaching to meet varying abilities, including those with SEND.
