Job summary

Bridgwater College Academy is seeking a dedicated Primary Teacher for Upper Key Stage 2. The role requires QTS, a track record in KS2, and a commitment to inclusive, high-quality teaching across the curriculum. You will work with TAs, parents and colleagues to ensure all pupils make strong academic and personal progress.

The post is full time, with MPS/UPS scale and starts January 2027. Closing date 05 November 2026 with interviews on 13 November 2026.

Qualifications

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a strong track record in the primary phase.
• Experience teaching Upper Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 2 with progression expectations.
• Proven ability to use assessment to plan and raise pupil attainment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality teaching across Upper KS2 curriculum.
• Differentiate teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND/EAL.
• Collaborate with teaching assistants, colleagues and families to secure strong pupil outcomes.
