With that in mind we’re looking for Asset Data Technicians (x1 permanent and x1 12 month Fixed Term Contract) at our Coventry office.

Do you have proven experience of working with databases and inputting information from source? And do you also have experience of working with internal and/or external customers? Perhaps you are also IT Literate working with Microsoft Office?

We have exciting positions available in our Asset Data Delivery Team.

Are you ready to play a crucial role in maintaining Severn Trent’s asset register for above-ground assets? Our Asset Data Delivery Team is at the heart of ensuring our asset data is accurate and up to date. You’ll be processing asset updates from both internal and external stakeholders, adhering to top-notch quality standards for data in SAP.

  • Build and Maintain Relationships: Your ability to forge and sustain strong relationships with key stakeholders is essential. You’ll be the go-to person for asset updates, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration.
  • Proactive Communication: You’ll actively engage with stakeholders about work programs, ensuring high-quality asset updates are received promptly.
  • Hands-On Validation: Not just a desk job! If data needs clarification, you’ll don your PPE and head out for site surveys, making sure everything checks out.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO THE ROLE

  • Attention to Detail: Your meticulous nature will be key as you produce weekly reports on stakeholder performance for capital schemes and outline the next steps.
  • Communication Skills: You’ll need excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with the ability to present information clearly and effectively.
  • Curiosity and Learning: You’ll translate symbology drawings into hierarchical assets within our asset register, always eager to learn and ready to challenge inaccuracies constructively.
  • Self-Motivation and Team Spirit: We’re looking for someone who is self-driven and can inspire and motivate their colleagues, thriving in a collaborative environment.
