About Us

Schologists is a collective of scholarly psychologists dedicated to unlocking human potential through cutting-edge psychological research. We’re developing an AI-integrated, gamified app in Unreal Engine to help adolescents with ADHD strengthen their cognitive abilities and daily functioning.

We bridge psychology, technology, and engaging design to create meaningful digital interventions. A core part of that experience is visually immersive, stylised, and emotionally resonant game assets—and that’s where you come in.

The Role

We’re looking for a talented Unreal Engine Artist (Freelancer) to create high-quality 2D and 3D assets, textures, environments, and UI elements that bring our cognitive training world to life. You'll collaborate with designers, psychologists, and developers to ensure every visual element supports gameplay, accessibility, and psychological impact.

This is a remote, freelance-based role with flexible hours and creative autonomy.

What You’ll Do

Design and create stylised 3D models, textures, and environments for Unreal Engine.

Optimise assets for performance without sacrificing visual quality.

Collaborate with game designers and psychologists to ensure visual assets align with cognitive and emotional goals.

Create intuitive and engaging UI elements and menus that enhance user experience.

Work with the development team to implement and test assets in Unreal Engine.

Contribute to the game’s visual identity through concept art, mood boards, and creative input.

Who You Are

Skilled in creating game-ready assets for Unreal Engine (1+ year preferred).

Proficient in tools like Blender, Maya, Substance Painter, ZBrush, or similar.

Understanding of stylised art direction and visual storytelling.

Able to follow technical constraints and optimise for mobile and desktop.

Experience with UI/UX design for games is a plus.

A good communicator who can take feedback and work independently.

Passionate about using visual art to enhance gameplay and make a positive impact.

Bonus: Experience working with educational, psychological, or accessibility-first projects.

Why Join Us?

Work on a purpose-driven game that supports young people with ADHD.

Collaborate across disciplines in a truly unique psychology-tech team.
