Job description

Unqualified Teaching Assistant – Brent | Full-Time | September Start Are you a dedicated and enthusiastic individual looking to begin or continue your journey in SEND education? A welcoming mainstream primary school in Brent is currently seeking a passionate unqualified Teaching Assistant to join their team from September. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain valuable experience supporting students with additional needs in a Key Stage 1 classroom. You’ll be providing general classroom assistance, helping to create a positive learning environment, and supporting pupils with ADHD, dyslexia, and global developmental delay as they navigate their early education. This is a full-time role, working Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. The position is ongoing and could offer long-term prospects for the right candidate. The ideal applicant will have experience working with children, whether in a school, nursery, youth work, or similar setting. While previous experience supporting children with special educational needs is beneficial, it is not essential. More importantly, you will have a calm, patient approach and a friendly, can-do attitude, with a genuine interest in helping children thrive.
