We at Axcis are thrilled to announce a fantastic opportunity for a full-time Teaching Assistant role in Bridgwater. This SEN school is dedicated to creating a safe and nurturing environment for children aged 5-18 who have struggled in mainstream education. The school's mission is to help each student reach their full potential while respecting and valuing them as individuals. The school also emphasizes an environmentally-focused approach to learning, preparing students for success outside the classroom.

They are seeking Teaching Assistants to join from September on a long-term or temp-to-perm basis. Candidates with experience in SEND settings or school environments are preferred. The role requires managing challenging behaviors and de-escalating situations effectively. No formal qualifications are necessary, but relevant skills or qualifications are advantageous. A DBS check on the update service is essential, and Axcis can assist with this process. The pay rate is £14.66 per hour.
