This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced EYFS Professional who is ready to take the next step towards achieving QTS.

Following the success of our current Deputy Headteacher who also followed this route, the Governors of Archbishop Runcie Church of England VA First School wish to appoint a permanent Nursery Teacher, due to the promotion of the previous post holder. Whilst in employment, we will support you initially as an EYFS Professional with a view to undertaking an assessment-only route to QTS and complete your ECT Induction. (Candidates should check they meet the criteria for this).

Archbishop Runcie CE First School is situated in Gosforth in an area of mixed demographics. We have a well-established staff team and happy and highly-motivated children. Our EYFS provision is a strength of our school, and we are seeking to appoint an excellent Nursery Teacher to continue to provide a stimulating, relevant curriculum to our Nursery class including Rising 3s.

This post is suitable for anyone qualified to degree level including Early Years Teacher Status or equivalent qualifications to enable them to work as a Nursery Teacher. This post is not suitable for applicants who already hold QTS. This post will be paid on unqualified teacher pay scale, as per Teachers Pay & Conditions (scale points 1-6) until QTS is achieved.
