SEN Teacher

£120 - £150 per day

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Unqualified Teacher to join a wonderful SEN school in Great Yarmouth. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a passion for education and working with children with additional needs-even if you don't yet hold formal teaching qualifications.

About the Role:

You will support and lead learning for students with a range of special educational needs, including autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, and learning difficulties. Working closely with experienced teachers, support staff, and therapists, you'll help deliver engaging lessons and create a positive, inclusive classroom environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support and deliver learning activities tailored to pupils' individual needs
  • Assist in planning, preparing and adapting lesson resources
  • Manage classroom behaviour and promote a safe, nurturing space
  • Work closely with teaching assistants and wider support staff
  • Track pupil engagement and contribute to progress reports
  • Build positive relationships with students, staff and families
  • Contribute to the wider life and ethos of the school
  • Participate in ongoing training and development opportunities
What We're Looking For:
  • Eligibility to work in the UK
  • Child DBS on the update service.
  • A strong interest in working with children and young people with SEN
  • Experience in an educational or care setting (desirable but not essential)
  • A positive, patient, and proactive attitude
  • A willingness to learn and develop professionally
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
