Salary: Unqualified Teacher (Inner London Pay Scale) £27,252 - £39,417

Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive individual to join a Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Greenwich as an Unqualified Science Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and supporting students with additional learning needs, and a strong desire to help them reach their full potential in any Science discipline.

Unqualified Science Teacher - key responsibilities:

  1. Support students in small group and one-on-one settings, tailoring teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
  2. Assist in the development and implementation of individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special educational needs.
  3. Teach a range of Science topics to students at different levels, ensuring lessons are engaging, accessible, and challenging.
  4. Promote a positive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
  5. Collaborate with other teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders to track students' progress and provide targeted support.
  6. Use a variety of teaching resources and strategies to support the diverse needs of students.
  7. Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers about student progress and well-being.
  8. Ensure a high standard of classroom management in line with the school's policies.
