A forward-thinking secondary school in Manchester is offering an exciting opportunity for a motivated and confident individual to join their Science department as an Unqualified Science Teacher. This full-time, long-term role is ideal for recent graduates seeking hands-on experience in a teaching environment.

The Role:

Deliver pre-planned Science lessons to KS3 and KS4 students across Biology, Chemistry and Physics

Engage learners through interactive teaching and behaviour management strategies

Work under the guidance of experienced teachers and department leads

Support students with varying levels of ability, adapting delivery to suit their needs

Take part in departmental meetings, CPD training, and the wider school community

Who We’re Looking For:

A graduate with a degree in Science (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or a related subject)

Confident communicator with strong subject knowledge

Ambitious, professional and passionate about working with young people

Someone considering a career in teaching – whether via PGCE, School Direct, or a salaried route

Previous experience in schools or tutoring is desirable, but not essential
