Unqualified Science Teacher - Northampton

Location: Northampton

Start Date: October 2025

Contract Type: Full-Time | Long-Term | Potential for Permanent Placement

Daily Rate: £100-£160 (depending on experience and responsibilities)

Your Role Will Include:
  • Supporting and delivering science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4
  • Helping students grasp complex scientific concepts in a clear, engaging way
  • Fostering curiosity, critical thinking, and a love for science
  • Managing classroom behaviour with guidance from experienced staff
  • Assisting with marking, assessments, and feedback
  • Participating in ongoing training and professional development
We're Looking For Someone Who:
  • Holds a degree in a science-related subject (e.g., Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Biomedical Science)
  • Has a genuine interest in working with young people and supporting their education
  • Possesses strong communication and classroom presence
  • Is open to learning, taking feedback, and growing in the role
  • Is potentially interested in progressing into a teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, SCITT, QTS Apprenticeship)
  • Has (or is willing to obtain) an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
