Location: Northampton
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Full-Time - Long-Term with Potential for Permanent Role
Salary: 100- 150 per day (Dependent on Experience & School Support Provided)

We are working with a number of supportive secondary schools in Northampton seeking enthusiastic, unqualified Science Teachers to join their teams from September 2025. These full-time roles are ideal for science graduates, aspiring teachers, or experienced educators without formal QTS who are looking to build a career in education.

Role Responsibilities:

• Deliver engaging and structured lessons in Biology, Chemistry and/or Physics across KS3 and KS4

• Work alongside experienced teachers to plan and deliver science content aligned with the national curriculum

• Manage classroom behaviour effectively to create a positive learning environment

• Adapt teaching strategies to meet the needs of students with different learning styles and abilities

• Support with assessment, marking and progress tracking under the guidance of qualified staff

• Participate in school training, safeguarding, and CPD opportunities as part of your development

Ideal Candidate:

• Degree in a science-related subject (Biology, Chemistry, Physics or Engineering preferred)

• Prior experience working with young people or in an educational setting is desirable

• Confident communicator with a strong presence and natural enthusiasm for Science

• Resilient, organised, and committed to student progress

• Open to feedback and eager to learn - ideal for those considering a future PGCE or teacher training route
