Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive individual to join an 11–18 school in Merton as an Unqualified Physics Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and supporting students with additional learning needs, and a strong desire to help them reach their full potential in Physics. Specialisms in Biology and Chemistry will also be considered.

Unqualified Physics Teacher – key responsibilities:
Support students in small group and one–on–one settings, tailoring teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
Teach a range of Physics topics to students at different levels, ensuring lessons are engaging, accessible, and challenging.
Promote a positive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
Collaborate with other teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders to track students' progress and provide targeted support.
Use a variety of teaching resources and strategies to support the diverse needs of students.
Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers about student progress and well–being.
Ensure a high standard of classroom management in line with the school's policies.

Excellent academic background – UK Physics degree
No formal teaching qualification required, but an interest or background in Science is essential.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Patience, resilience, and the ability to engage students with a variety of needs.
A proactive approach to professional development and a willingness to learn new skills.
