Unqualified Physics Teacher

Location: Merton
Start date: September
Contract: Full-time permanent
Salary: Unqualified Teacher (Outer London Pay Scale) £25,758 - £37,932

Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic, dedicated, and proactive individual to join an 11-18 school in Merton as an Unqualified Physics Teacher. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and supporting students with additional learning needs, and a strong desire to help them reach their full potential in Physics. Specialisms in Biology and Chemistry will also be considered.

Unqualified Physics Teacher - key responsibilities:

* Support students in small group and one-on-one settings, tailoring teaching methods to meet individual learning needs.
* Teach a range of Physics topics to students at different levels, ensuring lessons are engaging, accessible, and challenging.
* Promote a positive learning environment where students feel safe, respected, and motivated to learn.
* Collaborate with other teaching staff, support staff, and senior leaders to track students' progress and provide targeted support.
* Use a variety of teaching resources and strategies to support the diverse needs of students.
* Maintain clear and consistent communication with parents and carers about student progress and well-being.
* Ensure a high standard of classroom management in line with the school's policies.
