Academics are seeking a passionate and engaging PE teacher, qualified or unqualified, for a full-time, ongoing contract, ideally temp to perm, in Southampton City Centre. The role involves working with vulnerable young people with social, emotional, and mental health needs, including autism.
The position includes delivering activities such as swimming, gym, boxing, and other off-site activities around the city centre. You should be able to plan and deliver the NCFE Sports Course and potentially other subjects or activities.
This Alternative Provision, opened in September 2022, aims to provide students in Key Stages 4 and 5 with academic and vocational qualifications, preparing them for employment and adulthood through bespoke curricula and supported work experience.
