Overview

Job Vacancy: Unqualified PE Teacher SEMH School (Dover)

Location: Dover

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Start Date: ASAP

Contract: Until Christmas (with potential to extend)

Role

Delivering and supporting engaging PE lessons tailored to the needs of students. Encouraging teamwork, confidence, and resilience through sport. Working with small groups and supporting emotional and behavioural needs. Promoting physical activity as a tool for positive mental health and personal development.

The Ideal Candidate
  • Background or strong interest in sport, coaching, or physical education
  • Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEMH or behavioural needs (preferred)
  • Confident managing challenging behaviour and building strong rapport
  • Energetic, patient, and passionate about making a difference
  • Proactive and flexible approach to learning and behaviour support
Notes

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who wants to use their passion for PE to engage young learners who thrive on practical, hands-on learning. While a teaching qualification is not required, previous experience in schools, coaching, or working with vulnerable young people is highly desirable.
