Contract: Full-time permanent
Salary: Unqualified Teacher (Inner London Pay Scale) £27,252 - £39,417

Aspire People are seeking an enthusiastic, committed, and proactive Unqualified English Teacher to join a supportive Special Educational Needs (SEN) school in Greenwich this September.

This is a brilliant opportunity for someone with a strong academic background in English and a desire to make a real difference in the lives of young people with additional learning needs.

Unqualified English Teacher - key responsibilities:

As an Unqualified English Teacher, you'll support students in both one-to-one and small group settings, delivering engaging and accessible English lessons across reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension.

Your duties will include:

  1. Teaching a variety of English topics suited to the individual learning needs of SEN students.
  2. Supporting the development and implementation of EHCPs.
  3. Creating engaging lesson content to develop literacy, language, and communication skills.
  4. Fostering a safe, inclusive, and structured classroom environment.
  5. Collaborating with support staff and the SEN team to track student progress.
  6. Maintaining open and supportive communication with parents and carers.
  7. Upholding high standards of behaviour and learning in line with school policies.
