Join Our Team as an Early Years Educator!

No qualifications are required; previous experience working within a childcare setting is preferred.

Pay: £20,800 - £25,396 per annum, based on experience (40 hours per week).

Working Hours: 38 hours over 4 days, Monday - Friday, 8am-6pm.

Location: Little Green Rascals Minster Yard, 7 Minster Yard, York, North Yorkshire, YO1 7JD.

About Our Nursery

Little Green Rascals Minster Yard is a unique nursery dedicated to creating a home-from-home environment. We focus on natural, locally sourced, and organic products, ensuring no added nasties in our food or skincare. Our toys and resources are made from sustainable materials, and our electricity is from an ethical supplier. Located in the heart of York, our facilities include five rooms, a Forest School area, and care for up to 125 children from 0-4 years old. Your Role

As a valued team member, you'll:

• Create a warm, fun, and nurturing environment for children.
• Plan and deliver engaging, play-based activities aligned with the EYFS framework.
• Build meaningful relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Monitor and celebrate children's development milestones, sharing records with parents.
• Support the daily operations of the nursery, maintaining high standards of hygiene, safety, and care.
• Be a team player, guiding apprentices and volunteers while learning from others.
