Unqualified Chemistry Teacher

Role Information

The role involves varied responsibilities, including teaching lessons in your specialist area. You will not be thrown into the deep end on day one; instead, you will receive support and training to succeed and help your students progress. You will learn how to plan and deliver outstanding lessons by shadowing experienced professionals who have worked with i-teachers’ graduates extensively. Due to your responsibilities, you will be paid higher than standard salaries, with a daily rate of £139 – £202 depending on experience. This position starts in April.

About You

• You will require a minimum 2:1 in your STEM-related degree from an excellent UK university.
• Strong A-Levels are necessary to ensure sound subject knowledge.
• Prior experience working with young people in an educational setting.
• Dedication and motivation to become a great teacher.
