We're currently recruiting enthusiastic and confident individuals to work in a variety of secondary schools across the region. No formal teaching qualifications are required - just a passion for working with young people and a desire to make a difference.

What does the role involve?

As an Unqualified Teacher (also known as a Cover Supervisor), you'll:

  • Lead lessons in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Deliver pre-prepared work to students
  • Manage classroom behaviour and maintain a positive learning environment
  • Support the school by ensuring smooth handover back to the regular teacher

This is perfect for you if you have experience in:

  • Sports coaching
  • Youth work
  • Drama, art, or music workshops
  • Teaching or leading children's activities (Scouts, Guides, Cubs, Brownies, etc.)
  • Summer camps or outdoor education (Duke of Edinburgh, adventure instructors)
  • Community clubs or after-school programs

Even a minimum of 2 months' experience in these areas is enough to get started.
