Overview

We are working with an outstanding SEMH school who are looking to appoint an unqualified teacher starting ASAP. The school caters for students with Social Emotional Mental Health Challenges and are no longer in a mainstream setting to help them focus their attention on progressions with lessons. Students are able and willing but are on average 2-3 years behind national average. So as a KS3 teacher it can be expected to be delivering to a year 6 level.

Responsibilities

• Deliver approximately 60% of the timetable; the remaining 40% is allocated for learning, observing and planning.
• Support students in a SEMH setting to progress with lessons.

Qualifications / What we're looking for

• Recent graduates who are interested in becoming a teacher, or an experienced teaching assistant seeking the next step in their career.
• Those with backgrounds in Psychology, sport, mental health, care are preferred but any degree is welcome.

Location and start

The role is to start ASAP with online interviews for the first stage, as soon as tomorrow onwards.
