The Role:

We are looking for an Unloads Technician to join our Operations team at Panalux in Hayes, London!

This is a permanent, full-time position (40 hours per week, Monday to Friday) requiring flexibility for a weekly shift rotation of early (7:00 AM - 4:00 PM) and late (11:00 AM - 8:00 PM) shifts, with approximately one weekend shift per month.

Your responsibilities will include:
  1. Safely and efficiently unload and load vehicles with minimal supervision, ensuring swift turnaround times.
  2. Proactively liaise with shift leaders and Heads of Departments to address any equipment-related issues.
  3. Provide exceptional support to crews by understanding and addressing their equipment needs.
  4. Conduct thorough quality checks and perform basic first-line maintenance on equipment.
  5. Maintain a clean and organized work area, strictly follow safety protocols, and contribute to efficient equipment dispatch and inventory management.
  6. Assist with stock control activities, including collections and deliveries as required.
  7. Accurately fulfil equipment requests while strictly adhering to our quality standards.
What you’ll bring to the role:
  1. Proven experience in an operations role within a warehouse or professional lighting environment.
  2. Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  3. Strong commitment to providing excellent customer service and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  4. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within a team.
  5. Self-motivated and proactive team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
  6. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and consistently meet tight deadlines.
  7. Valid driver's license for the occasional transportation of equipment (desirable).
