Job summary

University of Sheffield invites applications for an University Teacher to contribute to the School’s portfolio of research-led, high-quality teaching in Data Science.

You will deliver lectures and workshops to campus-based students and assess core and optional modules across our Data Science UG and PGT programmes such as News and Social Media Analytics, Big Data Analytics, Database Design and Data Mining, and AI.

Job description

As University Teacher you will play a key role in contributing to, and maintaining, the School’s portfolio of research led, high quality, teaching. You will be expected to provide lectures and workshops to campus-based students, and to produce and mark assessments on core and optional modules across our Data Science UG and PGT programmes such as:

• News and Social Media Analytics
• Big Data Analytics
• Database Design and Data Mining
• AI

You will also carry out supervision of UG dissertation projects.

£48,822 to £58,225 per annum.
