We are seeking individuals to support students in mainstream or specialist schools, either on a full-time or part-time basis. Work hours are from 8:30 to 15:30, Monday to Friday, during term time only.

Ideal candidates will have a strong interest in working with children and be studying related fields. Previous experience supporting students is a plus, but not mandatory. We value resourcefulness, resilience, and a warm disposition that encourages children to open up.

Students may have diagnoses such as autism, ADHD, social, emotional, and mental health challenges, or Down syndrome. Support will focus on both academic progress and social development to foster independence and peer engagement.

Requirements
  1. Support students with additional needs either 1:1 or in small groups.
  2. Follow teacher instructions and provide feedback on student progress.
  3. Manage behaviors effectively, adhering to school policies with an empathetic and consistent approach.
  4. Be reliable and committed, providing children with the stability of routine and structure.
  5. Willingness to undertake professional development through online and in-person courses.
  6. Hold an enhanced DBS check on the update service or be willing to apply for one.

Zen offers competitive pay rates, a user-friendly platform to manage your schedule, and the flexibility to accept work that suits your preferences.
