University Catering Supervisor (Part-Time, 25h)

Job summary

Compass Group UK&I is recruiting an experienced Catering Supervisor in Swansea to oversee Universities catering and service operations on a part-time basis (25 hours per week, 36 weeks per year).

You'll prepare delicious food to high standards, supervise culinary and catering teams, monitor KPIs, uphold Health & Safety, and train staff while delivering exceptional customer service and a strong brand image across 6,000 venues.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years catering experience.
• Hold a Basic Food Hygiene certificate.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
• Ambitious and motivated to upskill.

Responsibilities

• Preparing delicious food to the highest standards.
• Supervising our culinary and catering teams to ensure we continue to deliver impeccable food and customer service.
• Communicating regularly with your line manager to monitor KPIs and targets.
• Representing Compass Group UK&I and maintaining a positive brand image.
• Liaising between customers and our culinary and service teams to ensure we continue to exceed expectations.
• Supporting and training our teams, leading from the front to make sure everyone can excel in their role.
• Implementing and reviewing Health & Safety standards to ensure compliance across all catering and service teams.
