Job description

Greetings everyone!

The time has come, and we are seeking a Unity Programmer to join us as soon as possible on a short-term, 2-month contract to help us complete the development of CLAWPUNK. This is a full-time (Mon-Fri, 9-5 with flex), remote, paid role. As the core team is mainly UK-based, we would prefer someone in or close to our time zone. Note that we are looking for an individual contractor, no agencies or studios for hire, please.

More info about the game here:

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2990370/CLAWPUNK/

We are a small and proudly super-indie team, backed by a great publisher, and now in the final stretch of development. We need someone to help us fix bugs, polish up gameplay systems, and get everything in place for launch. We need someone relentless, as you will likely be playing through the game repeatedly from start to finish, ironing out issues and helping us respond to feedback quickly and effectively. We use git for source control.

For the benefit of transparency: We are expecting a lot of interest and may not be able to respond to every email, but every application is genuinely appreciated. There will be no programming tests, and our chats will be informal. We only ask that you be honest about your experience, reliable, and easy to work with.

I will be attending the Develop conference this week, so I will start reviewing emails from 14th July.

If this sounds like a good fit, please email your CV and portfolio to our email and include your rates or desired cost for two months of your time.

If you see me at Develop, feel free to come and say hi!
