A leading care home provider in Liverpool is seeking a Non-Clinical Unit Manager to ensure high standards of resident care and lead the team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to create a supportive environment. Benefits include paid DBS, flexible pay access, and extensive training opportunities. Join us to make a meaningful impact in the community you serve.
About The Role
In your role as a Non-Clinical Unit Manager at HC-One, you’ll value one thing above all: kindness. It carries across every aspect of our Dementia, Nursing, Residential, and Specialist care homes. Every person who works here understands that our residents are people just like them, with their own stories to tell. By joining us, you’ll have a wonderful opportunity to give something back to those people.
Being a Unit Manager means taking responsibility for a specific part of the home and delivering the very best level of care. You may also run the entire home when the Home Manager and Deputy Home Manager are absent. Whether reporting mobility issues, requesting a sample for monitoring, or administering medication, you’ll always prioritize resident dignity and well-being.
We are passionate about ensuring our current and future colleagues can be their true selves, and that our workforce represents the communities we serve. We prioritize inclusive working practices and invite applicants from all backgrounds into our HC-One family.
We want you to have an amazing experience working at HC-One, starting with our commitment to providing a quick turnaround from job offer to your first day with us.
About You
You will have proven leadership skills in a care home for vulnerable adults. Beyond that, it’s your positive energy and natural ability to get along with people that matter. This role requires someone ready to take real accountability. When communicating with residents or colleagues, you’ll be considerate and kind.
Safeguarding is everyone’s responsibility. You should be able to recognize signs of abuse, harm, or neglect and know how to respond. All colleagues are required to attend safeguarding training relevant to their role and undertake additional training as needed. You should also be able to seek advice and report concerns, including escalation if necessary.
