You will act as a key point of contact for residents, their relatives, and healthcare professionals, responding to any concerns or complaints. We're now looking for a warm, enthusiastic, and dedicated individual to join our award-winning team as a Unit Manager (Non-Clinical). If this sounds like the place for you, we'd love to hear from you!

ABOUT THE ROLE

Your focus as a Unit Manager (Non-Clinical) will be to support the care home management team in delivering high-quality care with a difference by providing a safe, caring, innovative, open, supportive, and inclusive environment for residents, visitors, and staff.

Other responsibilities will include:

  • Leading on monitoring standards of care delivered by staff through observation, audit, and direct involvement.
  • Monitoring the well-being of each resident, being aware of any changes impacting care, and ensuring care plans are updated accordingly.
  • Leading in the person-centred care planning process by implementing, monitoring, conducting monthly evaluations, completing care plan audits, developing action plans, and ensuring these are executed.
  • Acting as a key contact point with residents, relatives, visitors, and health and social care professionals, ensuring requests are addressed and concerns escalated appropriately.

ABOUT YOU

To succeed, you should embody our values of caring, supportiveness, honesty, respect, and accountability. Experience is not required, as we provide thorough induction and training to build confidence in your role. The ideal candidate will have:

  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in care for care homes
  • At least 2 years of experience working with the resident group
  • Knowledge of the CQC Fundamental Standards
  • Ability to lead staff and act responsibly in the absence of the manager
