Job summary

Burrito Kitchen (Ensalada) is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager in London to lead kitchen and shopfloor operations, ensuring quality, safety and excellent service. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include training, process improvements, and maintaining strong supplier relationships while achieving KPI targets and ensuring timely food preparation.

Qualifications

• Proven management experience in hospitality or restaurant.
• Strong food safety knowledge and health & safety guidelines.
• Excellent team management and motivational skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding customer experiences.
• Able to use iPad/phone and adapt to new systems and technologies.
• Strong communication skills.
• Able to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily kitchen and shopfloor operations.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff to maintain productivity.
• Assist in food preparation ensuring quality and safety standards.
• Train new staff on procedures, safety and customer service.
• Manage inventory and place orders for supplies.
• Address customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Collaborate with management to improve operations and morale.
• Monitor KPIs such as sales, waste, audits and team satisfaction.
• Maintain strong relationships with Tesco partners.
