Job summary

Burrito Kitchen (Ensalada) is seeking a dedicated Unit Manager in London to lead kitchen and shopfloor operations, ensuring quality, safety and excellent service. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and drive customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include training, process improvements, and maintaining strong supplier relationships while achieving KPI targets and ensuring timely food preparation.

**Overview**. We are seeking a dedicated and experienced unit manager to join our dynamic team in our stores in London. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in restaurant/kitchen operations, with a focus on food preparation and kitchen management. As a unit manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth running of daily operations while leading and motivating your team to deliver exceptional service.

Duties

• Oversee daily operations within the kitchen and shopfloor to ensure efficiency and high standards of service.
• Supervise and support kitchen staff to maintain a productive work environment.
• Assist in food preparation, ensuring that all products meet quality and food safety standards and are prepared in a timely manner.
• Train new employees on proper procedures, food safety practices, and customer service expectations.
• Manage inventory levels, placing orders as necessary to ensure adequate supplies for food preparation and service.
• Address any customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally to ensure satisfaction.
• Collaborate with management to improve operations, team morale and company standards.
• Manage KPIs (sales, waste, audit scores, team satisfaction).
• Ensure strong relationships with our Tesco partners.

Salary: 35k per annum. Shifts: mostly mornings 6am to 3pm. Weekend availability: needed but rare weekend shifts, mostly Monday to Friday. Bonus scheme after passing probation: up to £300 monthly. Possibility to earn additional paid holiday each year. Job Type: Full-time.
