Job summary

Care UK is seeking a passionate Quality Development Manager to lead clinical and care services across its care homes. You will work with stakeholders to deliver high-quality care aligned with regulatory standards and drive continuous improvement.

Ideal candidates are experienced Registered Nurses with active NMC pins, a driving license for access to homes, and proven quality/governance experience in a care home setting, plus an innovative mindset focused on residents’ wellbeing.

Qualifications

  • Experience in quality governance and care home settings.
  • A proactive, innovative mindset focused on best care.
  • Full UK driving license or access to a vehicle.

Responsibilities

  • Develop care and clinical services and ensure high-quality care per external regulation ratings.
  • Lead engagement and development of colleagues; embed best practice and monitor compliance across initiatives.
  • Embed best practice, monitor KPIs (e.g., tissue viability, nutrition, end of life care, medication) and analyse home data to identify trends.

The role:
  • To directly work with key stakeholders to develop care and clinical services and the overall delivery of high-quality care services as recognised through external regulation ratings.
  • Responsible for the introduction, engagement, and development of colleagues, embedding best practice and monitoring of compliance for a range of care and clinical initiatives.
  • Embed best practice through monitoring compliance of a range of care & clinical KPIs such as tissue viability, nutrition, end of life care, medication etc. and analyse individual home data to identified and respond to trends or concerns.

About You
  • An experienced Registered Nurse with active NMC Pin.
  • Full Drivers Licence with access to own vehicle.
  • Quality and Governance experience, ideally in a care home setting. [SP1]
