Unit Management Team - Unit Secretary & Trustee

We are urgently seeking a Secretary to join our Unit Management Team (UMT). This vital role supports the Chair and Commanding Officer in the smooth running of the Unit Management Team.

What Will You Be Doing?

The Secretary will support the Trustees in managing the Unit by overseeing organizational processes, meetings, and compliance with regulatory obligations.

The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, proactive in improving processes, and willing to challenge the Trustees constructively to enhance our ways of working.

What Are We Looking For?

  • Excellent team working skills
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to assist where needed; experience in governance or fundraising is a plus but not essential
  • IT skills
  • Previous secretarial or administrative experience
  • Experience in minute-taking and agenda writing
  • Availability to attend regular UMT meetings, typically 1-2 hours, monthly or bi-monthly, on weekday evenings
