Job summary

Brunelcare is seeking a capable senior carer to lead a home team and deliver high-quality care. You will supervise care delivery, administer medications after training, and promote social engagement for residents, while respecting individual histories and preferences.

Strong communication, initiative, and a passion for elderly care are essential; leadership experience is highly valued. DBS checks and right-to-work documentation will be required during interviews.

  • Experience in the care sector is essential.
  • Previous line management responsibilities are desirable.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work on own initiative.

About The Role
  • Support with personal care needs on an individual basis recognising choice, ability and diversity.
  • Dispense and administer medication to residents following successful completion of training and competencies.
  • Recognise and actively encourage the importance of social activity in a person’s day.
  • Mentor and lead a team within the home on best practice; demonstrating what good care and support looks like.
  • Understand the importance of a person’s life history and incorporate this into the daily care needs
About You

  • Experience in the care sector is essential

  • Achieved or are working towards Diploma Level 3 in Health and Social Care
  • Enthusiastic, friendly and passionate about working with older people
