Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated Registered Veterinary Nurse to join a dynamic team in a well-respected hospital environment in Edinburgh. If you are enthusiastic about emergency care, orthopaedics, and intensive care, this role may be perfect for you. The successful candidate will enjoy a varied caseload and a great work-life balance with a 4-day working week, no out-of-hours responsibilities, and only 1 in 6 weekends.

Role:

  • 40 hours per week, 8 am to 6 pm (part-time will also be considered)
  • Mix of first opinion, hospital, and emergency work
  • Salary of up to £14.50 per hour

The hospital, located in the beautiful city of Edinburgh, is one of a small number of Vet Nurse Training Practices in Scotland and is reputed for its quality veterinary care, especially in the fields of surgery, dentistry, internal medicine, and behavioural problems. It also boasts a dedicated emergency clinic, providing emergency care for the clients of ten local practices, 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. The hospital is committed to developing and supporting nurses throughout their career, whether they wish to specialise in a certain area or gain more experience all around.
