We are seeking a team player with litigation experience or a formal qualification, eager to build a career in contentious highways damage work across various tracks. You will be trained to handle claims from start to finish, including litigation, on behalf of businesses recovering uninsured losses. Meet Ian, who leads the team, and learn more about our work.

Our niche team specializes in recovering uninsured losses for clients across sectors such as retail, construction, utilities, and logistics. We have handled nearly 7,000 cases, issued 2,700 legal proceedings, and recovered £6.9m in damages in the past year.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of contentious claims and diary management
• Evaluating claims and obtaining quantum documentation
• Investigating liability and assessing evidence
• Negotiating liability or quantum with defendants or insurers
• Instructing and liaising with experts and counsel
• Drafting legal proceedings and managing litigation processes
• Attending hearings and maintaining client relationships
• Performing administrative tasks such as archiving, billing, and case management

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
