About The Role

We are seeking a vigilant Uniformed Security Officer to ensure the security and safety of the Thatcham Distribution site, protecting staff, visitors, contractors, and company assets.

The role involves guarding the Distribution Centre, routinely using MS Excel and Word, inputting information, and managing Security ID passes via computer and camera systems. You will interact daily with Fire & Security systems, identifying activation sources and coordinating responses to maintain smooth operations.

This position requires a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, which may include working at other company premises, weekends, nights, bank holidays, or public holidays. Flexibility for additional hours or changes with prior notice is essential.

About You

You should possess excellent interpersonal skills, conflict management abilities, and maintain a high standard of personal appearance and fitness. You must be comfortable with technology, including MS Office, and be able to handle confrontational situations and stand or patrol for extended periods.
