Job summary

Arch Europe Insurance Services Ltd in London is seeking an Underwriting Assistant to provide administrative and technical support to the underwriting team, handling file maintenance, inputting submissions and processing policies with accuracy and timeliness.

You will assist with risk research, broker meetings and country overview reports, support daily operations, prepare management reports, manage bordereaux and data quality, and liaise with back office teams to ensure smooth underwriting

Qualifications

• Has at least 12 months experience in Insurance, ideally as an Underwriting Assistant.
• Strong administrative and technical support skills for underwriting team.
• Experience inputting submissions and handling policy data.

Responsibilities

• Input submissions, rating models, quotes and bound policies into underwriting systems.
• Assist Underwriters with day-to-day underwriting operations and management reports.
• Manage binders, lineslips, bordereaux and data quality checks.
• Prepare policy documents for sign-off.
