Job summary

AIG invites you to join its Underwriting Summer Internship in the UK, running from 14 June to 6 August 2027. You will work with underwriters across lines of business, gaining hands-on experience in risk assessment and client interactions on real projects.

This eight-week program includes masterclasses, mentoring, and networking events, with potential progression to the Graduate Analyst program in Sept 2028. Apply online via AIG campus site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than June 2028.
• Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector is acceptable.
• Demonstrates strong teamwork, communication and analytical abilities.

Responsibilities

• Work alongside experienced underwriters to assess risks.
• Gain exposure to real underwriting decisions and client interactions.
• Learn about different lines of business and underwriting practices.
• Analyse data, financial information and market trends to support underwriting decisions.
• Collaborate with other interns and your wider team on projects.
• Build a strong internal network and participate in training sessions.
