Job description

Arthur is partnering with a Specialty (Re)Insurer seeking an Underwriting Services Analyst to join their team on an initial 12 month fixed term contract.

In this position, you will work closely with the Underwriting Services Team Lead, supporting the day-to-day technical operations across multiple departments, including underwriting, finance, claims, operations, and compliance. You will also coordinate with offshore teams to ensure efficient task resolution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key liaison between underwriting teams, finance, and external stakeholders such as brokers, underwriters, and carriers.
  • Assist in organising, prioritising, and allocating work requests to outsourced teams.
  • Oversee premium, claims, and processing requests handled by offshore teams.
  • Process and review premium and claims transactions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage credit control reporting and liaise with third parties.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.
  • Support the development of systems and operational processes.

We are interested in speaking with candidates who have experience in a processing role within an MGA, Broker, or Carrier, particularly in the London Market. You should have expertise in premium handling, claims payments, credit control, and bordereaux servicing, with experience in coordinating and overseeing outsourced teams.

A strong attention to detail, commitment to accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential for this role.
