Underwriting Manager, Mid-Market

My client, a prestigious insurer, is currently looking for an Underwriting Manager to join their high-achieving Mid-Market team. This is a newly created role and an unrivalled opportunity for someone seeking continued career progression.

Salary: up to £120,000 + great benefits

Location: City of London

Hybrid: Yes

Ideally, you would be able to portfolio manage, have the ability to analyse data and market trends for growth, implement effective underwriting strategies, and provide coaching and mentoring where required.

You will be leading a small team of technical and portfolio management experts focused on optimising the portfolio across the Property, Liability, and Motor within the Mid-Market space. You will provide a strategic portfolio and underwriting direction and support the development of the underwriting capability.

This will be a progressive role and one that will involve engaging with a variety of internal stakeholders, providing great exposure to all aspects of the business.
