AIG UK is launching an Underwriting Graduate programme starting 13 September 2027, offering exposure to Property, UK Small Business Insurance, Cyber, Political Risk, Credit Lines, Construction, Lex London Casualty and Lex London Property.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree to be received no later than July 2027.
• Previous work or volunteering experience in any industry or sector.
• Evidence of extra-curricular activities.
• A collaborative team player with strong communication skills.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Motivated, proactive and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Support with underwriting new and renewal business to help drive the profitable growth of the business line.
• Support with assessing the desirability of risk.
• Build relationships with brokers by networking and attending broker events.
• Deliver excellent service to brokers.
• Support with creating monthly management information, including submissions, bind rate, average premium, and total premium.
