Overview

Key Duties (Including but not limited to):

• Effective people management of the Underwriting & Claims team, striving for a collaborative environment based on psychological safety where each team member feels they can be their authentic self and freely contribute to meeting personal and collective objectives
• Support the development of each member of the Operations team by adopting Continuous Conversations and by providing high challenge and high support
• Ensure Development Plans and Commitments are agreed and regularly reviewed and updated where necessary
• Manage workflow and resource including support from wider Underwriting & Claims team to meet internal/external SLAs of Operations team tasks

Qualifications required:

• ACII or Equivalent Degree level desirable

Experience required:

• Commercial understanding of Life and Health insurance and Reinsurance market
• Confident and effective in dealing with internal stakeholders and with external clients at all levels
• Strong organisational skills to meet deadlines and manage client expectations
• Ability to produce high quality written material
