Job Description:

Role Purpose

Support the Offshore division through administrative responsibilities related to Underwriting Controls, ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee work by the Underwriting Operations department.
  • Perform administrative tasks such as data entry, USM matching, month-end closing, and training.
  • Log all risks into the business log promptly.
  • Ensure completeness and accuracy of underwriting files and obtain missing items.
  • Verify signings and written confirmations.
  • Assist Credit Control with premium investigations and aged debt management.
  • Produce reports using EDW, ensuring accuracy.
  • Support company projects as needed.
  • Complete Peer Review within 30 working days.
  • Oversee PBQA and Contract Certainty processes, escalating issues as needed.
  • Monitor lineslips and binders, ensuring timely and accurate recording.
  • Research and analyze transactions.
  • Communicate with brokers on new transactions, quotes, and renewals.
  • Report suspicions of financial crime immediately.
