A leading reinsurer is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Underwriting Assistant to join their Marine & Aviation Treaty team. You'll work alongside experienced professionals, with plenty of opportunities to learn, grow, and develop your skills.

Salary: £32,000
Hybrid: Yes
Responsibilities:

  • Assist the underwriting team with administrative tasks, including data entry, document preparation, and filing.
  • Conduct basic data analysis and research to support risk assessment and portfolio development.
  • Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth processing and accurate documentation.
  • Provide general administrative support across treaty renewals and new business activities.

Requirements:

  • Recent graduate of Economics, Maths or Actuarial Science.
  • Basic analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Good communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Willingness to learn and develop within a technical, dynamic underwriting team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
