Trading Underwriting Assistant - based in Manchester

Company Overview: One of the largest MGAs in the UK, with offices nationwide, specialising in SME to mid-market Property & Casualty business. Known for strong broker relationships and a client-focused underwriting approach. Due to expansion, a Trading Underwriting Assistant position has arisen in the Manchester team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain broker relationships through excellent customer service.
  • Manage renewals, including queries, mid-term adjustments, and cancellations.
  • Collaborate with team members and managers to support the Manchester Centre of Excellence.
  • Operate within delegated underwriting authority and identify process improvement opportunities.
Candidate Requirements
  • Experience in a service-oriented industry with a focus on customer outcomes.
  • Self-motivated, friendly, with strong relationship-building skills.
  • Quick learner, team player, capable of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
