About the role: This role involves managing both renewal and new business cases within the Sports Insurance niche, dealing with clients from the company's own broking business and third-party brokers. You will work with bespoke products such as Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, and Specialist products, primarily focusing on golf, football, rugby, and other sports clubs.

Key duties include:

1. Managing relationships with regional brokers, colleagues, and clients across the UK.
2. Identifying opportunities for solutions by evaluating applicant situations and insurance risks.
3. Underwriting new and existing business within delegated authority.
4. Communicating with senior staff to ensure clarity and positive relationships.
5. Providing excellent customer service, adhering to SLAs.
6. Building profitable relationships with brokers and colleagues.
7. Issuing policies, calculating premiums, and negotiating terms.

Candidate profile: Ideally, you come from a commercial underwriting background with exposure to golf or sports insurance. We welcome applications from outstanding Commercial Underwriters or technically skilled Brokers with delegated authority experience. Candidates should be highly numerate, IT-savvy, and possess excellent stakeholder management skills. Note: We are seeking candidates not focused on auto-rated business.

Work arrangement: Hybrid role, with a couple of days in the office. Exceptional candidates may work fully remotely.
