About the Company: When it comes to MGAs, this one is a purebred – owned by a global broking giant, with capacity provided by one of the largest composite insurers in the world. It offers a 'best in class' service to its clientele and is a significant player in the market, especially within the Golf niche. The company is investing heavily to increase its market share, focusing on football and rugby clubs among others.
Role Overview: You will manage both renewal and new business cases, dealing with clients from the company's broking business and third-party brokers. The products are bespoke and geared towards the Sports market, including Commercial Combined, Property, Liability, and Specialist products.
Key Duties:
Candidate Profile: Ideally, you come from a commercial underwriting background with exposure to golf or miscellaneous sports insurance. Applications from outstanding Commercial Underwriters (Commercial Combined/ Property/ Casualty) with a passion for sports are welcome. We also seek technically skilled Brokers experienced with delegated authority schemes. Note: We prefer candidates who are not focused on auto-rated business.
Skills & Requirements: Highly numerate, excellent IT skills, stakeholder management skills, and a team-oriented approach.
Work Environment: Hybrid role with office presence a couple of days a week. Outstanding candidates with relevant sector knowledge may work more flexibly or remotely.
