Join the UK Property team in London to become part of a dynamic, collaborative group dedicated to excellence in the property sector. Our team values innovation, teamwork, diversity, and shared success. You will collaborate with talented colleagues, writing large corporate multinational lead business and wholesale international business in the vibrant London Market, fostering mutual respect, continuous learning, and delivering outstanding client results.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Underwrite new and renewal accounts to meet profitability and volume targets.
  2. Negotiate participation, pricing, and terms with brokers.
  3. Manage capacity, including natural catastrophe accumulation assessments.
  4. Ensure underwriting aligns with governance frameworks.
  5. Achieve contract certainty and utilize global pricing tools.
  6. Handle policy documentation and file maintenance accurately.
  7. Support policy administration, credit control, and business acquisition.
  8. Coordinate with functional areas and liaise with MMC on market initiatives.
  9. Develop relationships with brokers and clients; mentor less experienced staff.
Qualifications and Skills
  • CII qualification or equivalent, or working towards it.
  • Minimum 5 years in underwriting, brokerage, or risk management in the property sector.
  • Experience in the London Market.
  • Expertise in risk assessment, including natural hazards.
  • Skills in pricing, market analysis, and policy wording.
  • Understanding of policy lifecycle management.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills.
  • Strong analytical abilities.
  • Willingness to learn about AI applications in the role.
